Professor Rafiqul Islam, Dalhousie University,
Halifax, Canada.

I offered a 4-day workshop on
Unconventional Gas Reserves in Karachi, Pakistan. It was organized by Obiz
Pakistan. I was most impressed with both technical ability and organizational
dexterity of Obiz Pakistan. I offered similar workshop around the world, and I
must say my experience in Pakistan was the most fulfilling. Beyond the
professionalism that Obiz seems to have mastered, its executives took care of
many details that would evade the most well known organizers. Offering the
workshop was a delight all the way through. In addition, it became clear Obiz
personnel love their profession and there was no dull moment anytime during
the very busy four-day schedule. In case I needed some extra attention for
some of my personal needs, Obiz reacted most graciously and surprised me with
the level of care they put in addressing my concerns. Many advised me to not
travel to Pakistan in this turbulent time. However, I am glad that I went to
Pakistan. There was not a moment I felt insecure or helpless. The entire visit
was like visiting a family. In the past, I always argued that a true learning
experience must be comfortable enough, so participants and instructor do not
feel alienated. Obiz has mastered the true art of disseminating knowledge.
This will be an organization to recon with in the near future.
Dr. Bilal U. Haq, Washington, DC, USA.

"It was my pleasure to give a week-long seminar on
Sequence Stratigraphy organized by Obiz Pakistan Ltd. in June 2010. I found
the company to be highly professional, well-organized and responsive to all of
the needs of both the participants and the instructor. Their attention to
details, preparation of the course materials and smooth running of the seminar
with back up equipment (in spite of frequent power cuts) were exemplary. In my
experience of having given such course all around the world, I found Obiz to
be a world-class organization and truly interested in the transfer of
knowledge to the exploration community in the country."
Prof. Dr. Michael Ala, Imperial College, London

"I found Obiz Pakistan a well run and
professional organization. Also, the individual executives of the company
conduct themselves in a professional manner. Their arrangements relating to my
travel from and to the UK, accommodation, transport from and to Karachi
airport were most satisfactory. The course venue and catering arrangements
were excellent as was their hospitality during my stay in Karachi. I was
impressed with their commitment to maintaining high standards in delivering up
to date training programs to the oil and gas industry in Pakistan. My fees
were paid promptly. I have recommended Obiz Pakistan to my colleagues at
Imperial College who are involved in presenting training courses
internationally."
